I have completed several training programs in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy and am involved with upcoming clinical trials.

I tailor my treatment for each client's unique situation drawing from a variety of evidence-based approaches incorporating Psychodynamic and attachment theories, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Play therapy, mindfulness, brain-based therapy and emotion coaching in a fun and engaging way.

How psychological therapy can help

Psychological therapy provides children, adolescents and adults with an opportunity to seek assistance with a personal, relationship, school or work issue. Psychological therapy helps by providing a confidential, supportive and non-judgmental environment in which to explore thoughts and feelings about a particular issue.

  • Psychological therapy with children usually involves play therapy which provides age appropriate ways for children to express themselves. Parental involvement in counselling for children is encouraged.

  • Psychological therapy for adolescents usually involves more traditional talk therapy though games may be used to develop the therapeutic relationship. Parental involvement is welcome though there is a greater degree of independence as the age of the adolescent increases.

  • Psychological therapy for adults may focus on a particular issue or situation that may be causing distress. All psychological therapy will involve age appropriate assessment and evidence-based treatment.
