Getting started

You may have a good idea of what you would like to discuss. It may be useful to write down a few thoughts prior to the first session. My approach is to work collaboratively with you to face whatever situation or problem is currently troubling you.

What is involved?

The first session is an opportunity to explore the current situation or problem, discuss any relevant background and decide together what kind of approach is best suited to you. Confidentiality is essential to a trusting therapeutic relationship and this will be explained and discussed at the start of treatment.
